With Brandon Woodruff accepting the $22.05 million qualifying offer extended to him earlier this month, the Milwaukee Brewers have gained some much-needed certainty regarding their starting rotation for 2026.

Should Freddy Peralta remain in the mix – the Brewers exercised their $8 million option on him for 2026 on Nov. 3 but there remains a distinct possibility he could be traded in the next month – Milwaukee will return every key contributor,
excluding free agent José Quintana, from a unit that finished third in ERA (3.56), fourth in opponents’ batting average against (.229) and 11th in WHIP (1.22) in the major leagues despite myriad injuries and moving pieces.
