“Congratulations to Josh Naylor on winning the 2025 James Tip O’Neill award,” the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame announced. “The St. Marys, Ont.-based shrine presents this honour annually to the Canadian player judged to have excelled in individual achievement and team contribution while adhering to baseball’s highest ideals.”

This is the second time Naylor has won this award having earned it in 2023 as well. That year, he hit a career-best .308 with 17 homers and 97 RBIs.

Last month, after his impressive 2025 season, Naylor locked up his future with the Mariners by signing a five-year, $92.5 million contract with the organization.

Seattle fans are happy to know that their Canadian star will be playing in a Mariners uniform for years to come.
