Toronto Blue Jays legend Jose Bautista is making an impact at the SickKids hospital in Toronto by starting the ‘Bautista Impact Fund’.

With the recent news of George Springer’s commitment to children with disabilities, Jose Bautista is back in Toronto as well do charity work we can all be proud of.
In the past, as a player, Bautista has made surprise visits to sick kids at the SickKids Children’s Hospital in Toronto to make them feel special, but this time he’s doing it to make an impact on all children and the future of the hospital going forward.
Bautista, a dad of four, is known for his unwavering commitment to children and youth.

That’s why he’s partnered with Canada’s #1 publicly-funded children’s hospital in a dedicated effort to create meaningful, measurable impact for the next generation.
The Bautista Impact Fund in partnership with SickKids will supply critical support to the hospital in areas where it’s needed most.

SickKids Children’s Hospital made the following announcement about their partnership with Bautista

We’re so excited to announce our new partnership with baseball icon and Toronto legend José Bautista through the launch of The Bautista Impact Fund, a donor-advised fund dedicated to supporting the highest priority needs at Sick Kids Toronto. The Bautista Impact Fund is a testament to José’s enduring dedication to supporting children and youth and marks a significant milestone in SickKids’ ongoing journey to support pediatric health care. We can’t wait to flip some bats together! Thank you, José! 💙
Bautista made the following statement to the media following the announcement.
