Before becoming a star in the major leagues, Baltimore Orioles infielder Gunnar Henderson spent three years honing his skills playing collegiate baseball for Auburn.
While perfecting his craft, Henderson also met his future wife, Katherine Bishop, during his time on campus. While Henderson was among the Auburn Tigers’ best players, Bishop pursued a pharmacy degree.
The pair eventually began dating and have been going strong ever since, eventually announcing their engagement in February 2024. With baseball season finished, the pair tied the knot on Saturday.
As the happy couple celebrated their big day, plenty of Gunnar Henderson‘s Baltimore Orioles teammates and their partners joined in on the celebration.
Outfielder Cotlon Cowser’s fiancee, Claire Wolford, shared a series of snaps from the wedding on Instagram on Sunday. One of the images of her post also featured Jackson Holliday‘s wife, Chloe; Kyle Stowers’ wife, Emma; Ryan Mountcastle’s spouse, Taylor; Heston Kjerstad’s wife, Klaire; and Jordan Westburg’s wife, Anna.
“Cheers to The Henderson’s 🖤🥂we love you both so much!!!” Claire Wolford posted.
Having made their big league debuts in 2022, 2023 and 2024, respectively, Gunnar Henderson, Colton Cowser and Jackson Holliday are three huge parts of the Baltimore Orioles’ exciting young core. Having shared the clubhouse for at least two seasons, the trio are naturally great friends on and off the field.
Looking at the social media post, it appears their partners also share a similar level of camaraderie.
Gunnar Henderson’s wife, Katherine, enjoyed a girls day out in New York with the wives of other Orioles stars to end the 2025 season
To finish the 2025 season, the Baltimore Orioles headed to the Bronx to take on the New York Yankees for a three-game series. To support the team, the players’ partners also made the trip north to New York.
Soon after the final game of the regular season was over, Katherine Henderson enjoyed an evening out in the Big Apple alongside Chloe Holliday, Taylor Mountcastle and Anna Claire Westburg and later posted about it on Instagram.
“quick trip to the big city to end the season!!! & yes I cried!” Katherine Henderson posted.

Unfortunately for Gunnar Henderson and company, the results on the field did not go their way. Having struggled all season, the Orioles were swept by the Yankees, finishing the campaign bottom of the AL East with a 75-87 record.
