Cameron’s Brink’s recovery from her 2024 injury limited her to just 19 games with the Los Angeles Sparks in 2025 and the team finished just short of reaching the WNBA playoffs.
The season may be over, but Brink isn’t going away anytime soon. On Thursday she was a special guest of the Los Angeles Chargers’ stadium sponsor SoFi ahead of their big game (and subsequent win) over the Minnesota Vikings.
For the occasion, Brink wore a white blazer over a black top and white shorts with a pair of brown cowgirl boots.
“Game night energy with @sofi,” she wrote.
As for the game, the Chargers basically dominated the Vikings from start to finish. The Chargers were humming on offense while the defense beat Vikings QB Carson Wentz up so bad that he could barely finish the game.
Brink’s Career
Brink has quickly become one of the brightest young stars in women’s basketball, known for her elite shot-blocking, defensive instincts, and versatile offensive game. A standout at Stanford University from 2020 to 2024, Brink helped lead the Cardinal to a national championship in 2021 and earned multiple All-American and Pac-12 Player of the Year honors. During her college career, she developed a reputation as one of the most dominant defenders in the country, finishing among the NCAA leaders in blocks and rebounds while also expanding her offensive range. Her combination of height, mobility, and basketball IQ made her a projected top pick in the WNBA well before her senior season ended.
In the 2024 WNBA Draft, Brink was selected second overall by the Los Angeles Sparks, a franchise in the midst of rebuilding around young talent. She made an immediate impact in her rookie season, anchoring the Sparks’ defense and showcasing the poise and skill of a seasoned veteran. Brink’s shot-blocking and rebounding instantly translated to the professional level, while her ability to stretch the floor and pass out of the post made her a dynamic two-way threat. Fans and analysts alike praised her for her composure, leadership, and ability to change games without needing to dominate the ball.
Off the court, Cameron Brink has also emerged as one of the WNBA’s most marketable and influential young players. As a former college teammate and close friend of fellow star Haley Jones, and a cousin of NBA superstar Stephen Curry, Brink brings both pedigree and personality to the league. Her advocacy for women’s sports, community involvement, and growing list of brand partnerships have made her one of the faces of the WNBA’s new generation. With her blend of talent, intelligence, and charisma, Brink is widely viewed as a cornerstone not only for the Sparks but for the future of women’s basketball.
