Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Trey Yesavage has had quite the year in 2025 and it looks like the year just got even more special with his most recent announcement.

News broke early this morning after a post on social media from Yesavage and his girlfriend, Taylor Frick, that they are getting married as the Blue Jays rookie pitcher recently proposed.

Blue Jays fans were quick to get on social media and wish the happy couple congratulations on the incredible life changing news.
CONGRATS: Trey Yesavage picked up the biggest win of his life with the announcement he and girlfriend Taylor Frick are getting married. The announcement was made on their Instagram pages.

While Yesavage missed out on a World Series ring a couple weeks ago, he turned around and set himself up to go and get another type of ring.
When looking at 2025, Yesavage will surely have some extremely fond memories for the rest of his life for the accomplishments he had both on and off the field.
It will be interesting to see how Yesavage shows up to Spring Training in 2026 after such an incredible past year with the Blue Jays.
Despite still being a rookie, Yesavage has a chance to enter next season as the Blue Jays number 1 pitcher.
