2025 Season Overview: Signed during free agency by Chicago on Feb. 4, Kia Nurse emerged as a reliable player for the Sky, starting 18 games this season.

In her seventh season in the league, Nurse averaged 7.2 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists while shooting 33.5% from three. She notched a season-high 19 points in 18 minutes of action on Aug. 23 against Connecticut. Earlier in the month, she tied her career high in assists with seven against Golden State on Aug. 1.

Always a threat from beyond the arc, Nurse finished the season 23rd in the league in three-pointers made with 61. She had three games of five made three-pointers this year, including the game on Aug. 23. Nurse also recorded 17 games with multiple made three-pointers.

Nurse also ended up being a force on the boards for the Sky this season, including a stretch in late July where she averaged 7.0 per game.

A consistent presence throughout the season, Nurse appeared in all 44 games, while starting 18 for the Sky. Nurse hasn’t missed a game for three straight seasons, making 124 consecutive appearances over that span, one of only seven players to appear in every game from 2023-25.
