CLEVELAND — Free agent right-hander Shawn Armstrong and the Cleveland Guardians finalized their $5.5 million, one-year contract on Saturday, a deal that includes a 2027 mutual option.
The 35-year-old went 4-3 with nine saves and a 2.31 ERA in 71 appearances for Texas last season.
