The Los Angeles-area home of WNBA star Sabrina Ionescu and NFL offensive lineman Hroniss Grasu was burglarized Monday night, the Los Angeles Police Department told NBC4 Investigates.
Police responded to the professional athletes’ home at about 8 p.m. A security alarm was activated when someone broke a glass sliding window at the rear of the residence.

Two thieves in ski masks broke into the house and stole several handbags worth more than $60,000, authorities said.
Ionescu, a sharpshooting guard for the New York Liberty, and Grasu were not home at the time, police said. A family member responded to the home.
Police took a report and are reviewing security camera video. No arrests were reported Tuesday morning.
Ionescu and Grasu competed in college at the University of Oregon. Ionescu, 28, was the No. 1 in the 2020 WNBA Draft. She earned all-WNBA honors in 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 and played a key role in the Liberty’s championship run two years seasons ago. Ionescu attended Miramonte High School in Orinda.
Grasu, 34, was drafted by the Chicago Bears in 2015 and played high school football at Crespi Carmelite in Encino. He went on the play for the Ravens and 49ers before spending two seasons with the Raiders, the last in 2023.
