Josh Naylor is a Canadian professional baseball player, born on June 22, 1997, in Mississauga, Ontario. He plays as a first baseman and outfielder for the Arizona Diamondbacks in Major League Baseball, as of March 2025. Naylor’s journey to the big leagues began early, as he played for the Ontario Blue Jays in the Premier Baseball League of Ontario. Naylor attended St. Joan of Arc Catholic Secondary School, where he earned a spot on the Canadian junior national baseball team at 15 years old. On the international stage, Naylor won silver and bronze medals at the Under-18 Baseball World Cups in 2012 and 2014, respectively.
