Both Stevens and Allemand did not play in the Sparks’ 84-79 victory over the Seattle Storm last Saturday.

In her first season in Los Angeles, Stevens was one of the main contributors for the Sparks as she played 35 games and started 29 last year. She finished the campaign averaging 10.8 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game. The Rhode Island native was a first-round (sixth overall) pick by the Dallas Wings in the 2018 Draft and also played for the Chicago Sky.

Allemand has not played in the WNBA since 2022 with the Sky. After being drafted with the 33rd pick in 2016 by the Indiana Fever, it wasn’t until the 2020 season that she would make her debut in the league after she spent 2016–19 with the basketball team BC Castors Braine in Belgium.

For the Mercury, star Brittney Griner (foot) and forward Morgan Bertsch (rest) are both out. Sophie Cunningham (elbow) is probable while Christyn Williams (knee) is questionable. More details to come pregame.

Tip-off for the Mercury vs. the Sparks commences tonight at Footprint Center at 7 p.m. PT.
