Julie Allemand starred for her native Belgium before making her way to the WNBA. The 5-foot-8 inch point guard for the LA Sparks has also played for the Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky. She was a third-round pick by the Fever in 2016 but opted to continue to play in Belgium until 2019. In 2020, she joined the Indiana Fever and has been in the WNBA since. Allemand had a career night on August 7, 2025, when she became the 22nd player to achieve a triple-double. She had 10 points, 11 assists and 11 rebounds in a win over the Connecticut Sun.
“The first part of the season I had surgery, [and] it was tough to come back [from], then I went to Eurobasket and it helped me a lot…so when I came back, I just wanted to play and be the same as I was over there,” Allemand said after he big game. “That’s what I’m doing right now and I’m feeling way more comfortable in this team. So yeah it’s been great, but the most important is the win and tonight was an important one.”
