Happy Wednesday, BCB readers! Weâve got lots of good little news bites to keep you entertained today, including some roundups of trade rumors, looks at some free agent signings that teams are hoping will be the thing they need to compete next year.
Some highlights weâll touch on today are the wild totals being accumulated by the Dodgers in deferred contract value now that theyâve finalized their deal for Edwin Diaz. But with more than a billion dollars owed to just 9 players between now and 2047, the question becomes: does winning now come at the cost the Dodgersâ future, and what is a dynasty worth?
