The Phillies are coming off a devastating four-game series loss to the World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers, falling short again in the postseason.

The core of Trea Turner, Bryce Harper, and Kyle Schwarber has brought plenty of wins and optimism to Citizens Bank Park, but they may have reached the end, making the end of the season fall how it did all the more consequential.

Harper is getting older, and Schwarber is now a free agent, adding uncertainty about where the franchise will go during the offseason.

The Phillies had a strong rotation, a lights-out closer, and a lineup that had a good balance of power and on-base threat.

However, two pieces of the lineup could end up getting traded amid the rising costs of the roster, especially if they want to try and keep J.T. Realmuto, Kyle Schwarber, and Ranger Suarez amid their free agent.

“I think they’re willing to talk on Marsh, maybe on Bohm, certainly on Castellanos,” Heyman said on a Bleacher Report live stream.

“I do think that Imai is a potential for them. You know, obviously, trying to re-sign Schwarber and Realmuto, Suarez is a possibility as well.”

Bohm is entering free agency next winter, and Marsh still has another two seasons of team control, but they may want to capitalize on his current trade value and add to another position of need.

Marsh is the player most likely to stay out of the pair, especially since he is a fan-favorite and the team will need an outfielder if they cut ties with Castellanos.

On the other hand, Bohm could end up leaving, but another team will need to value him highly and make a serious offer.
