Los Angeles Sparks guard Kelsey Plum is hoping for more chances to take her talents to the silver screen.
After making her acting debut in Happy Gilmore 2, Plum said she wouldn’t hesitate to take more roles in the future.

“When Adam Sandler calls you, you’re in,” Plum told Edwin Garcia of SB Nation. “So I would love to do more things like that. I had a ton of fun. I learned a lot. So definitely excited about future opportunities.”
Plum made a brief appearance as one of the golf course receptionists that greets Sandler’s titular character when he shows up to test his swing.
Plum is in her first season with the Sparks after spending the previous seven years with the Las Vegas Aces and winning WNBA championships in 2022 and 2023. Playing in Los Angeles will certainly make it easier for her to fulfill her Hollywood dreams.

Plum and the Sparks will be back in action on Tuesday when they host her old Aces team.
