Last December, the Aces centre turned heads with custom gold grillz featuring diamonds, 18K gold laurels representing her Olympic and FIBA medals and even her personal logo.
When Wilson and her team secured their third WNBA Finals trophy earlier this year, she stepped out in a Nike A’One silhouette featuring a gold grillz hangtag and dripping gold Swooshes – a personal statement that mirrored a career full of achievements. Now, ‘heads will get the chance to cop a version of that same silhouette, with the public release scheduled for next year.
The Nike A’One ‘Gold Grillz’ blends the Las Vegas Aces colour palette with Wilson’s personal symbolism. Gold Swooshes run along the sides, mixed with gold accents on the branding, subtle gold flakes on the midsole, and, of course, the signature gold grillz hangtag. The upper combines clean white with black touches on the tongue, lining and heel tab, striking a look that’s both flashy and refined.
Marking her third grade school A’One, the ‘Gold Grillz’ follows the ‘A’zure Vibe’ – a tribute to Wilson’s rise – and turquoise ‘King of the Court’ model.
