One of the main topics of discussion this MLB offseason has surrounded what the Boston Red Sox will do with Jarren Duran. With the Red Sox having a crowded outfield with other talented players like Wilyer Abreu, Roman Anthony, and Ceddanne Rafaela, it makes sense as to why they are trying to trade Duran to gain assets to advance the team elsewhere.
As the Red Sox continue to try to look to trade Jarren Duran, there is a new team that could emerge as a candidate to trade with the Red Sox for him, and that is the Milwaukee Brewers.

Boston Red Sox Trade Jarren Duran to the Milwaukee Brewers
Just recently, the Milwaukee Brewers went on to trade Isaac Collins to the Kansas City Royals, weakening their outfield a bit. With Collins no longer on the team, the Brewers will need to figure out what to do alongside Sal Frelick, and Jackson Chourio. The answer could very well end up being trading for Jarren Duran.
Jarren Duran is coming off a season in which he had a .256/.332/.442 slash line with 16 home runs and 84 RBIs. Over his five seasons in MLB, he has had a /267/.328/.452 slash line with 50 home runs and 226 RBIs.
When it comes to Jarren Duran, the power he plays with would be a great addition to the Brewers’ offense as it is something they did not have last season. Duran also has showcased his base running skills, which would be a necessary addition for Milwaukee as well.
Between his offensive presence, and ability to elevate the defense in the outfield as well, Jarren Duran becomes the ideal trade candidate for Milwaukee as the offseason progresses.
