Cameron Brink’s mom had a big impact on her daughter’s basketball career. Michalle Bain played college basketball at Virginia Tech. After her college career came to an end, she worked for Nike.

Cameron Brink talks about impact of her “beautiful” mom

Since she was drafted by the LA Sparks, unfortunately, most of Cameron Brink’s WNBA career has been marred by injuries. She could play only 15 games in her rookie season before she tore her ACL. In her second season, she played only 19 games after making a comeback.

Despite being absent from the basketball court, Brink’s off-court value didn’t get hit. She remains one of the most marketable faces in the league, particularly among the beauty brands. In January, Brink spoke about the impact of her mom on her personal journey.

“Growing up, I was definitely more into makeup than skin care, and I feel like just finding confidence in my skin has taken a long time,” Brink told Teen Vogue. But yeah, I always watched my mom doing her makeup growing up. I was always amazed by her process, and still do think she’s the most beautiful woman.”

The mother-daughter duo shares a very close relationship. Brink also attended the 2024 Paris Fashion Week with her mother, just days after her boyfriend Ben Felter proposed to her.
